Description
Quartirolo Lombardo DOP is a crumbly cheese paste and a lightness envied by modern nutritional trends. It takes its name from the “quartirola” herb, rife with wild flowers that flourish at the end of summer and find their way into the last cutting of hay before winter, also known as the “fourth cut”. A “fresh” cheese, it has the flavor of milk and is protected by the DOP mark.
